Steel adjustable joist supports are commonly used in construction to support and level joists in decking, flooring, and other structural applications. They’re designed to provide a solid and adjustable base, accommodating uneven surfaces and varying heights. These supports usually feature a threaded steel mechanism or similar system, allowing easy height adjustments.
We have developed and produced two types of steel pedestal to address fire protection requirements: Self-leveling Steel Pedestal (with Self-leveling head for tile and Self-leveling head for joist) and Non-combustible Steel Pedestal (including steel pedestal for tile and U-shape steel pedestal for joist). These are sturdy steel fire-resistant bases, with different height adjustment ranges depending on the style. This development comes as polypropylene paver supports can no longer be used in some locations, even with fire retardant additives in the plastic resin, due to increasingly strict fire regulations in many cities.
